Okie Dialect, They Just Sound Stupid

Not so long ago I was in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. The people there have a nice Southern accent. It's pleasant to listen to. Okies on the other hand? I'm not sure what kind of accent they have, but instead of sounding pleasant, they just sound stupid (which of course they are).
This is kind of funny, but sadly true.

Transplanted Okies - The first Okie expression to creep into a transplanted Newcomer's vocabulary is the adjective "Big ol'", as in "big ol' truck" or "big ol' boy". Eighty-five percent begin their new Okie influenced dialect with this expression. One hundred percent are in denial about it.
WARNING: If you hear an Okie exclaim, "Hey, y'all, watch this!" stay out of his way. These are likely the last words he will ever say.
