How to Describe oklahoma to People From Other States

Often I have found it difficult to explain what oklahoma is like to my friends back home. It is so hard to put into words what a pitiful place oklahoma is. Finally it occurred to me on a recent trip to Mexico how to explain. I was riding with my customer in his Chevrolet pickup and he apologized for the condition of the roads. "We don't have such smooth roads as you do in the United States." he said. I thought to myself, "you have obviously never been to oklahoma".
How to explain: oklahoma is to (insert your State name here) as Mexico is to the United States.
