How to Explain the Okie Mentality

Yes, it's true. Okies by and large are apathetic, lazy, stupid, dirty, divorced, smokestacks, bigoted, narrow-minded, self righteous, hypocritical, on parole, in jail, in the Sex Offender database, toothless etc. etc. etc. Try to tell them there is a better way, they are offended. Try to change things for the better, they resist. Why? Pigs don't know pigs stink.
